English class

In the school I was really good in English. I was got the best mark in my class. I don’t understand why, today, is difficult to me learn English, maybe because I lost all the practice in four years of university.

  We have to sign in the course every beginning semester.  I think that English class must be in all the semester of career.

The experience of blog was very funny because we could write about the thing that we like and also practice. Wednesday's class was for talk and practices oral English- very difficult to me- and saw movies.

 I think the aspects that I need to improve are the talk and pronunciation.  Talk is very difficult to me because I feel so nervous when I talk to another person.  It’s hard because you need think in English, and I still think the sentences in Spanish.  The pronunciation is only practice I know, but I so lazy to do it jeje.

To get easier to talk another people, sometimes I practice a conversation in the mirror.  I never end the conversation; I laugh of me self in the middle of conversation.  Another thing I do is talk with my boyfriend in English. He traveled to Australia to learn English and he learned very well the language.

Outside the English class, I practice with my boyfriend, I saw movies and I sing songs.

In one opportunity, I talked with a little child from Brooklyn. Was difficult, but with movements and a little bit mime we finally understood.

I think that we should learn more language than English. English is important because all around the world speak it.

English is important, but more important is keep our language.  We need appreciate our language too.

MOONRISE KINGDOM

My hobbie is watch movies. I love movies because they brought to you many places and stories.
I’m  fans of Anderson’s movies.  Wes Anderson is an American director who is very meticulous with movie photograph and characters.

The last movie this director is Moonrise Kingdom. I saw this movie in cinema with my boyfriend and my brother. We really enjoyed this film, but I loved before, at the moment I saw the trailer.


The movie telling the story about Sam and Suzy,-  two young’s lovers ( 14 years booth) – In summer the Suzy’s life is very lazy and boring in a lighthouse with her family. Sam is an orphan who in summer goes to camping.  They decided scape from his superiors and camping in the island New England.

Is a really good movie because photograph and actors. In this film work Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and others.

Other thing great about this film is the collaboration of Roman Coppola. He is Such a good Director!

The Battle of democracy

In my personal opinion I don’t trust in politicians.  Majority are interested in their own things and doing nothing for the people. But is necessary to vote, because is the way we can make changes in the social environment.
These Municipals are reflex of country. The people are disappointed of politics and thinks “If I don’t vote for anyone, I  change something or show my contempt. That is ridiculous.
My father always say that is important to vote because in the dictatorship was difficult to vote for someone to really like you.  To protect the democracy is necessary chose the people that represent us.
I registered in 2009 for the elections of presidents. It’s was a very exciting experience and also for the first time I felt a citizen
Since 2009 I vote in La Florida. This year the candidates for major were Rodolfo Carter (UDI) Rodolfo Carter (UDI), Iván Mlynarz (PPD), Rodrigo Cortez (PRI), Gonzalo Duarte (DC), Carlos Díaz (PH), and Patricio Guzmán (PI). I only knew three of them: Carter, Duarte y Mlynarz.
Carter was the replacement of Major Jorge Gajardo. I didn’t like me: It’s like a successor of Zalaquett and also is UDI.
I voted for Duarte, because he was backed for the Concertacion. But after to vote, my mother said me that he was a Major of La Florida years ago and he wasn’t a good Major. I regretted to vote him but in the next election I will make sure to vote for someone that I be sure.

Salvador Allende

It’s difficult choice the greatest chilean ever. We have a lot of persons who make proud to be Chilean. One of them is Salvador Allende Gossens.

I think Salvador Allende is the greatest Chilean ever. He was a surgeon and President of Chile in 1972. I think he is the best because he fought, with poor people for a better country and democracy. Also he was a very good speaker who motivated people through his speech.


One of the important things that he made was “nationalization of copper”.  All his reforms were to pick up the country and helped the poor people.
Is the greatest humanist of Chile. His were speech traveled all around the world and turner to one of the famous faces of Latin-Americans socialism.
If he were alive today, he would become an extraordinary politic with tradition (today is difficult to find them )
one thing that you know is Salvador Allende died on September  11, 1973 after the military’s came in La Moneda. 
I think Salvador Allende is relevant  today because he was a president closer to the people and their needs.  Also was a good politician independently than his colors.

If I could make a question to him, I would like to know why the people was important to him and what is needed to be a better country.

Barbieland

Today is difficult to know what l like about gifts. I’m very skillful with my stuff.  The last birthdays I didn’t ask gifts because I changed my priorities.   I think best gifts were when I was a child. I remember that Christmas’s gifts. I was eight years old and I loved Barbie’s.  I had more than 20 dolls in my rooms. However, I asked my parents for a new Doll called “Kelly goes to the bathroom”. This doll could pee and she has own bathroom. I thought that was very interesting thing because I pushed in the center and she makes pee that was funny.  

My parents gave me that present and I used it for years. Kelly was my favorite doll and also the youngest of group.

Other present I can remember was Mermaid Barbie.  When my brother Nicolas was born, he “gave” me a Barbie. My parents said that the present was from Nicolas – like San Nicolas- brought gifts. I don’t remember so much this episode but my parents always remind me when I fight with my brother.

I hope that my dolls are in good hands but I’ m not really sure where they are. If I could find them, I will give to my future child to have fun like I did.

My first day as Bello's daughter

My first day at the university was very interesting. At the beginning, I went to a class where my teacher, Faride Zeran, the most famous journalist who fought the dictatorship, told us a story of her classmates and strongest episodes during the dictatorship.  

After that, my classmates and I went to auditorium where the director of career and teachers gave us a speech about the vocation and the mission of journalism.

At first time, I loved my university and people who studied there because I felt the sense of community and diversity and this is the one of the important things when we learn about life and people.

One thing that was very strange for me was that most of my classmate knew yet.  I felt so lonely and antisocial but then I discovered than was because most of them was an emblematic school and they knew each other.

 I met a classmate who studied a different career before and we talked about that our career election.  She studied graphic design but didn’t like so much. I remember that this time I want to study her career but I didn’t sure about the decision.

I still remember my first week in university. I don’t believe this is my fourth year of journalism and next year I will become a real Journalist.  This scares me.

Santiasco

Santiago is the capital city of Chile, a long and straight country of the south pacific continent. I’ve lived in it for the past 22 years.

I like the city because it has everything you need to survive in a modern age. Also, all my family lives here and it’s good to have them close.

Other aspect that I really enjoy of the city is when my favorites bands visit us and make huge concerts.

Even all the positives thing that the city has, I consider that it has more negative things than positives like the big amount of cars that make a horrible noise and help to increase the contamination levels. People who live in the city has a really accelerate life's rhythm and that brings many psychological and physical problems.

An aspect of the city that I’d like to change is the waste of rain water. I think the city should integrate technology to adapt the streets and the house’s roof to catch that water and make it usable for our needs.

In case you are a tourist in Santiago you should definitely visit “Barrio Mapocho”, where you can find “La Piojera”, an emblematic restaurant that sell “Terremoto”, a typical Chilean drink. Also you have to visit the “Mercado Central”, a place where you can eat the most delicious seafood of the country.

2012: THE MAYAS CHANGED ME

2012 has been a hard year. Last year, was very complicated because my family went through a bad moment.

In March, I started to work in Universidad Central. This work learn to me about how difficult are relationships and to get closer to mature world.

This year is very difficult to me because I get through personal problems but I confront that situation with spiritual exercises.  I went to Kundalini Yoga. This experience change all my life and I realize than life is much more than problems and nothings is impossible when you are okay with yourself.

Today, I been away from my friends because the work and my new lifestyle. I miss them so much and when I have more time, make the most of my friends.

My family are fine and we are so happy to be together, more strong than ever.

I thing this year is a moment to get change in life. I don’t know what Maya’s mean to end of the world, but I thing than we have change ours habits and worry to planets and most important, people.

 

 

My Friends

I don't have a best friend.  I think it is because  I have many troubles with need people. I prefer love people. However  I have closers friends who help me on any occasion and love me like who I am.

At first in the list are my group of school. Maria Paz, Giselle y Barbara. We meet in high school and we became very close. We share beautiful moments, laughter and sadness. In school we sat back and talked very loud.  Was common that teachears will scold us .Now Maria Paz study Ambiental engineering , Giselle study education and Barbara have two childrens, Joaquin y Antonia.

After that, I meet  Maria Paz's friend Daniela. She introduce me other friends and I discovery nice people with which  share a good moments.

 In college I meet people different to me. Was so I became friend of  Josefa and  Nicole.  I love so much, they are always when  I need and they give me good advice. With Josefa frecuently  we fight because are so differents, but  I love her.

Also I have friends who don't see very often, sometimes only for my birthday, but I know are always with me.

One of my favorite website is Veo Verde.  Veo Verde is a website when the nature is the most important thing. The page has interesting articles about recycling, sustentability and ecological design.

This website has six sections:  Today, Energy and resources, flora and fauna, new, science and technology and finally EcoGadgets.

Veo verde is a website concerned with the environment.  In this page all the people who writes there is people who love the Mother Nature.

 I discovered this page because a friend who know all about the nature recommened to me two years ago.

 I visit the website every Sunday morning.  This website helped me to change my life style. Actually my eatings habits are with the environment and today I’m good health too.

I think that environment is very important today because without his gifts the humans cannot be the same.  The challenge is take care of them

Pedro Lemebel

 

I don't like so much reading, I prefer watching tv and seeing movies. But when I want do that, one of my favorites writters is Pedro Lemebel.
Pedro Lemebel is a Chilean writter. He writes about of the underground world of Santiago, prostitution, transformism and homosexuality.

I love two books  written by him : " La esquina es mi corazon" and " Tengo miedo torero". I like him so much because he tells a story with every detail and recreates an atmosphere than you fell in the story, an extraordinary story.

Another thing I like about him is his fight for the right of homosexual people and his work which helps to create conscience about the marginal world and  describe this world that way sounds funny and intersting

The last book he wrote was " El extasis de delinquir" in 2011. His book is about a story of Patricio Egaña, Lemebel's friend that was involved in Spiniak Case.

Allen's God

I like movies since I was a child. I love French movies and Hollywood’s alternatives movies.

 My favorite director is Woody Allen.  He can make every body laugh with his sarcasm. I like all Woody’s movies but the best movie is Annie Hall.

About Annie Hall, this is a story of the relationship with Alvy Singer (Woody Allen), a Newyorker comedian   and Annie Hall ( Diane Keton) a very unsteady actress. The film shows us all faces of a romance when it starts with  charm and finish with a crisis or break up.

This an interesting movie because it joins  drama and comedy resulting in a very good screenplay wich has continued through the years. The film (1977) won four Oscars of five nominations : Best movie, Best director, Best Actriss and Best Original Screenplay.

My Favorite Band

I love music, must be that my father loves music too. At home the radio is always on.
I listen differents styles of music like rock, indie, folk including disco jajaja.
One of my favorite bands ever is King of Convenience, I love them.

They are a Norwegian duet formed for Erlend Oye and Eirik Glambec. This is an acoustic band , they use a instruments like guitars, piano, violin and others. This music sounds like bossanova style and folk.

I knew this band one day when I saw "Misread" video on TV. I fell in love in a minute.

I like Kings of Convenience because they have music for every mood. If I feel sad, I would listen to "Cayman Islands" or "Parallel lines". If I feel happy, I would listen to "Boat behind" or " I'd rather dance with you"

My favorites songs are "Know How" , " Me in you" and " I'd rather dance with you", but to be honest I love all the song of these guys.

I particulary prefer two albums of this band : Riot on an Empty Street and Declaration Of Dependence

About me

My Name is Constanza Sáez Chacoff and i was born in Rancagua, on January 27th, 1990. I live with my parents and my younger brother, Nicolás.  Actually i don't stay to much at home because my work and university are far away  from it and my uncle Ximena gives me some shelter these days.

I studied in two schools. When i was a child, i studied in Manantial's school. When i was in high school, my parents changed me to another school called Alicante. I was the greatest student of my class because my classmate were a lazy people. I always had skill for history and language. At school, draw was the worst nightmare.


After high school, i didn't know what carrer choose. Finally i decided journalism at Universidad de Chile but not too much convinced. At the third year, I started to enjoy my carrer and today i'm very happy with my decision.


Actually I work at Universidad Central in departament of architect and i'm about to finish my carrer.
